Sarawak River Waterfront
The Sarawak River is the center of life in Kuching. River Waterfront, an impressively landscaped esplanade, is the happening spot in the town.

Fort Margherita
Fort Margherita reminds us of the turbulent days in the history of Sarawak. One also gets to see colourful Malay kampung.

Market
To pass your evenings, you could visit the market and buy your souvenirs. Or just do window shopping and enjoy your drinks.

Sunday Market

Kuching Excursions

Bako National Park
Famous Bako park is the best excursion from Kuching. Located at the distance of 45 minutes from Kuching, Bako National Park is best known for its wildlife. You would get incredible opportunities here for observing and photographing wildlife. Bako is among most popular national parks in Sarawak and a must visit attraction during Kuching trip.

Semenggoh Wildlife Centre
You could see orangutan live in the wild in Semenggoh Wildlife Centre. They live in the surrounding forest and come out from the jungle during the feeding time which is at 9am in the morning & 3pm in the afternoon. You would also get to see the giant Orangutan. A taxi will take about 30 minutes to take to the wildlife centre from Kuching.

Anna Rais Longhouse
This longhouse of Bidayuh tribe is about 175 yrs old. It is situated at 65km off Kuching and you can visit it on daytrip. This is the nearest authentic longhouse accessible from Kuching. You would see the traditional way here of living in a longhouse.
